Do you want to earn a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in five years? If so, you need to know 3-2 dual degree programs that offer both bachelor’s and master’s degrees. Duke University Nicholas School of Environment offers an excellent program which was ranked sixth globally in the area of environment and ecology. Duke University offers Master of Forestry and Master of Environmental Management to 3-2 dual degree students.
Master of Forestry “equips students to become experts in the sustainable management of forested ecosystems in today’s increasingly complex market.” This program in forestry is one of the best program in forestry in the nation because of its amazing faculty and hands-on approach to forestry. With this degree, students will be able to analyze, assess, and finance commercial forest in both private and public sectors.
Master of Environmental Management is an intensive 2-year program which teaches students “how to analyze and manage natural environments for human benefit and ecosystem health.” It culminates with a Master’s project in which students show their analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Students will defend her views in management-related problem.

Vanderbilt University offers an excellent nursing program which was ranked 15th in the entire nation. Similar to Duke’s dual degree program, Vanderbilt offers Master of Science in Nursing and bachelor’s degree to students who have studied in affiliated liberal arts college for 3 years and in Vanderbilt for 2 years. You should note that transfer is not guaranteed even if you meet the requirements.
Vanderbilt University’s nursing program is incredible. This nursing program has educated thousands of qualified nurses for over 100 years. - Each affiliated liberal arts colleges will have liaison officers who are extremely familiar with the program and will guide you to a successful transfer.
- It is pretty much guaranteed transfer from an affiliated liberal arts college if you have a high GPA, favorable recommendations, and extracurricular activities such as research because the 3-2 contract and the extra year spent studying than other transfers.
Financial Information at These Programs
There is financial aid available for international students, but it is different for everybody. Since you will be earning a master’s degree, there will be fellowships, grants, and loans for qualified students. Check with individual programs for individualized answer.
