Hi, what grade will I be eligible to apply for if I’m doing A level like what minimum grades are required to be accepted? after giving Topik and Toefl.

    • Hyun Lee at - Reply

Hello, I don’t know what the minimum requirements are for Seoul National University, but if you have AAB, you should be safe. If you have higher than that grade, that will be even better. If you have lower grade, you should still be fine, but I would say if you have AAB or higher, you should be admitted as an international student.

I would like to pursue masters in business administration my academics aren’t that great, but i am a state level basketball player and a ton of extracurricular. Fully funded scholarship is not a requirement but 60-70% would be great. What should I do?

    • Hyun Lee at - Reply

Hello, Korean universities really don’t care about sports and extracurriculars, and even US institutions, extracurriculars/sports matters in undergraduate admissions, but not for graduate degrees. The good news is that Korean universities are not as competitive for international students, and I’m sure you will have an easier time getting scholarships compared to other countries. Graduate Scholarships for Excellent Foreign Students is available at Seoul National University, and you should apply to other less competitive scholarships in Korea as well. Try searching our best scholarships in Korea and go through our Korea Scholarships Database. I’m not sure what your GPA looks like, but Korean universities are a lot easier to get into for international students.

Please I want to apply for admission in 2024. I want to know the deadline and its cost and I want to study medicine.

    • Hyun Lee at - Reply

Hello, the deadline is on this page and is updated. Please check that. For cost, please see the admissions links as it has the cost there too. For medicine though, I don’t think international students are eligible, and if they are, you would need almost native proficiency in Korean because the courses are done in Korean.

    • Hyun Lee at - Reply

Hello, MBBS is considered a bachelor’s degree in Korea. Medicine in SNU is taught in Korean, and you need to have a near-native level of Korean proficiency to get in. I believe there’s only a couple of international students in that program. Also, there are no full ride scholarships at SNU for medicine.
