Like most schools globally, tuition fees for international students are also higher than the Singaporean residents. Undergraduate tuition fees for international students generally cost S$17,000 except for Business-related courses (S$20,100), Medicine (S$74,900), and Renaissance Engineering Program (S$38,300). Meanwhile, international graduate tuition fees amount to around S$16,700, which is payable under the Tuition Fee loan.
International Admissions Guide at Nanyang Technical University
Application to Nanyang Technical University is generally through its online platforms where students have to complete a form and submit all the necessary documents. Students can start applying as early as mid-October until mid-January or late March of the following year, depending on the applicant’s country of origin. You can expect the results of your application around mid-June to mid-July. Unless you belong to the candidates shortlisted for the entrance exam, which results are released earlier in February to April. Undergraduate Scholarships
1. NTU-University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP) Scholarship
The NTU-University Scholars Programme (NTU-USP) Scholarship does discriminate against races and only base on the student’s academic performance in selecting its grantee. As all nationalities are welcome to apply, the competition is high for this Nanyang Technical University scholarship, and the applicants are required to write a personal essay and submit a referee’s appraisal along with it.
The application period is from October to March and includes an interview before candidate selection is final. The students must maintain a CGPA of 3.5 while under the scholarship. However, once the grantee decides to opt out of the scholarship prematurely, he/she will have to pay back the amount already provided.
2. Nanyang Scholarship
NTU-University Scholars Programme and Nanyang Scholarship are similar in their eligibility criteria, benefits, terms and conditions, and application procedures. The scholarship at Nanyang Technical University for international students is also open to any domestic and international students of the university who displays excellence in academics, leadership, and co-curricular activities. The only difference between the two is that Nanyang Scholarship only covers the first three academic years of Biomedical Sciences & Chinese Medicine Programs.

Graduate Scholarships
1. Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship
The Nanyang President’s Graduate Scholarship, one of the best Nanyang University scholarships for international students, accepts Honours or students at the final year of their Bachelor’s program aspiring to pursue graduate programs in research. All students, regardless of their nationality, are welcome to apply, but Singapore residents will receive priority. The application starts at the beginning of October until the end of December, except for students applying directly to National Institute Education, which also begins in October but closes earlier by the 30th of November.
2. NTU Research Scholarship
The NTU Research scholarship recognizes students who excel in full-time research Ph.D. and Master’s programs. Students who have taken the Ph. D. Qualifying Examination are eligible for an additional S$500. The extra incentives will depend on the academic performance and research output of the candidate for this NTU scholarship. Moreover, one of your duties as a scholar is to assist in teaching studies or any academic/administration work in 3-10 hours per week in NTU.
