Dankook University is a prestigious university located in Yongin, Korea. The university’s campus was used to be located in Seoul, but it moved its campus to Yongin in 2007. The university was founded in 1947 and have quickly grown to be one of the most well-regarded universities in South Korea. When the university was first founded, it was a very small university with only 960 students, Faculty of Liberal Arts, and Faculty of Law. However, it became a large university having 22,000 undergraduates and 8,000 graduate students located across two campuses in Jukjeon and Cheonan. These students study in 20 colleges and 10 professional and special graduate schools.
Since Dankook University was founded right after the national independence of Korea from the Japanese rule, this university’s goal was to help the reconstruction of Korea. Dankook University Scholarships
There are many scholarships available to make the cost of international students affordable. For undergraduate students, they can receive 55% tuition, dormitory fees, and health insurance scholarships for four years if you have received TOPIK level 6.
