Missouri State University offers Honors College to students who have a score of ACT 27 or higher and a 3.9 GPA. The benefits of the honors college are priority registration, honors courses, honors housing, departmental honors research opportunities, small class size, and honors faculty.

 

Theatre and Dance Department

Missouri State University has many strong departments including engineering and science departments. However, its strongest department is the theatre and dance department. It is one of the 200 programs that are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre. Additionally, it is accredited by the National Association of School of Music. The department offers so much opportunity to the theatre and dance majors to showcase their talent through various avenues such as tent theatre, performance touring, and recitals.

 

Automatic Scholarship Information

Note: To receive a scholarship from Missouri State University, you need to graduate from an American high school.

Board of Governors Scholarship– Students who are in the top ten percent in their class or 3.9 GPA and 28 ACT or 1320 Sat will automatically receive $5,000 per year and automatic out-of-state fee waiver. Students who receive this scholarship will pay approximately $10,000 per year for room and board.
