The Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), located in Seoul, South Korea, originated as a Vocational Supplementary School in 1910. It then became a Public Industrial school, technical college, university of technology and finally the Seoul National University of Science and Technology in 2010. It commemorated the 100th anniversary of its foundation. Today SeoulTech is widely acclaimed and recognized for the strong history and advanced learning atmosphere it offers.
SeoulTech consists of 29 departments, across 6 colleges, 7 graduate schools and is a home to learning for over 11,000 students. The spacious campus houses all the resource centers and many institutions that further enable the progressive educational environment. Since it is a public institution, students pay less for tuition. The undergraduate students pay $5,000 per year, and graduate students pay $7,500 per year for tuition fees. The SeoulTech tuition fees are in the middle range among Korean universities. There are some that are higher, and some that are lower. International students studying at SeoulTech have many opportunities to receive scholarships to pay for their tuition fees. The university awards undergraduate students full tuition, boarding, and meal scholarships for those who have TOEFL IBT 100 or TOPIK level 6 or above. Graduate students can be awarded full tuition fee scholarships based on their academic achievements. For those attending Special Professional Graduate Schools, scholarships up to 50% tuition and full boarding fee will be provided with those that have TOPIK level 4 or TOEFL 80 or above.
