3. Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar (IIT Bhubaneswar)

A public engineering university, the Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar is a relatively new school that was founded in 2008 by the government. Located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, the institute offers B. Tech, M. Tech, and Ph.D. programs.

4. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay)

The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay located in Bhubaneswar, Odisha is a public engineering university. 7. National Institute of Technology Delhi (NIT Delhi)

8. National Institute of Technology Raipur (NIT Raipur)

9. National Institute of Technology Silchar (NIT Silchar)

Established in 1967, the National Institute of Technology Silchar is a national institution located in Silchar, India. Degree-seeking students can choose from one of its recognized study programs in engineering and technology. NIRF has ranked NIT Silchar as among the top engineering colleges in India. Its outstanding engineering programs are offered at an affordable rate without compromising its quality.

10. Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology

The Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology was founded by Karam Chand Thapar in 1956 as a technological institute (“deemed to be university”). With its campus in Patiala, Punjab, India, the school is considered one of the oldest yet outstanding universities in the country. Currently, more than 8,500 students attending Thapar University.

11. TERI School of Advanced Studies

Set up by The Energy and Resources Institute, the TERI School of Advanced Studies is an independent research university located in New Delhi, Delhi, India.
