Located in Leicester, England, the University of Leicester is a public research university. The school is known for the invention of genetic fingerprinting and identifying the remains of King Richard III through their dedicated studies at their various research centers, specifically the Institute of Learning Innovation. They’re regarded as one of the top research schools in the United Kingdom, and the world as well.
The list of alumni who have gone on to find success is very impressive. The rigors of studying at UL has prepared its students well. Alumni include sociologist Anthony Giddens, British politician Natalie Bennett, and actor/comedian Bob Mortimer.
