2. Aga Khan University (AKU)

Because of its low tuition and quality education, many students come to the University of Punjab regardless of their nationalities. Composed of various faculties and departments, this university offers many courses and programs for undergraduate and graduate degrees.

5. University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore (UET Lahore)

Since there are many universities of engineering and technology, it is important to tag the word Lahore at the end of its name. UET Lahore is known for many things, but it is especially known for its first two majors, electrical and mechanical engineering. Because of their specialty in engineering, there are many structures in Lahore that were constructed by the graduates of UET Lahore.

Also, UET Lahore is one of the first universities in Pakistan to establish its own generator to supply the needed electricity to its campus.

6. Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS)

Funded by the private and public sectors, the Lahore University of Management Sciences was founded by NMF (National Management Foundation).
