Known as the land of the pyramids, the country of Egypt is known for its ancient wonders and magnificent buildings. Because of its location, it was called the East Delta University, but it later changed its name to what it is now in 1973.

3. German University in Cairo (GUC)

Supported by the German government, the German University in Cairo is an Egyptian private university that was founded by the collaboration between the Education Department of Germany and Egypt. Managed by a host of Germans and Egyptians, the GUC continues to strengthen the bonds between Germany and Egypt by their education system. Many of their programs involve exchanging students between the two countries, and many students have learned and mastered the working environment of both countries.

4. Benha University (BUE)

Also known as the British University in Egypt, the Benha University is sort of like the AUC and the GUC. Instead of delivering degrees that are accredited by the US or Germany, the degrees from BUE are accredited by the United Kingdom and Egypt. Since many countries had various influences over Egypt, they wanted to continue that influence by giving out their education to other countries.

5. Arab Academy for Sciences, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT)

Receiving its accreditation from the British, the Modern Sciences and Arts Academy is the first university that was accredited by the United Kingdom. Pursuing your degrees at MSA has the same standards as the famous British universities of art. 7. Misr University for Science and Technology (MIU)
