In 1880, Emerson College was founded by Charles Wesley Emerson to offer oratory education. This came 12 months after the famously known Boston University suspended its oratory school. Some of the requirements include a GPA of 3.6 (using the 4.0 rule) and SAT/ACT scores. The average SAT and ACT scores based on previous admissions are 1340-1470 and 25-30 respectively.
