Oklahoma State University Undergraduate Scholarships

1. International Achievement Freshman Scholarship

It is a series of awards provided by Oklahoma State University to the international undergraduate students. The awards in this list are merit-based. Each award has its own requirements. Depending on the academic requirements, the award money also varies. These awards are listed below along with their requirements.

 

2. Achievement Scholarship 1

This is the highest Oklahoma State University Scholarships in the series of achievement scholarships. This award has the greatest scholarship amount offered only to the students with highest academic scores. To qualify for this award, the students must have 8.5+ bands inn IELTS or 115-120 score in TOEFL.  They must have 1360+ SAT score along with a high school GPA of 3.25 or above. The students who fulfill these requirements are given an annual scholarship of $10,000. This scholarship is available to the student for the next four years, if he continues to provide excellent academic performance at the university.

 

3. Achievement Scholarship 2

This is the second award in the series of achievement scholarships. It has lower requirements as compared to the first award. The students must have 8.0+ bands inn IELTS or 110-114 score in TOEFL to be considered eligible for this award.  They must have SAT score of 1330-1350 along with a high school GPA of 3.25 or above. The students who fulfill these requirements are given a scholarship amount of $9,000 per year. This award is also available to the student for the next four years provided that he continues to perform well at the university.

 

4. Achievement Scholarship 3

This is the third Oklahoma State University scholarships in the series of achievement scholarships. The students having 7.5+ bands inn IELTS or 102-109 score in TOEFL are considered eligible for this award.  They must have an SAT score of 1300-1320 along with a high school GPA of 3.25 or above as well. The qualified students are given an annual scholarship of $8,000, renewable for the next four years.

 

5. Achievement Scholarship 4

This scholarship has the minimum requirements of all the achievement scholarships. Students need to have 7.0 bands in IELTS or 94-101 score in TOEFL to qualify. SAT score of only 1260 to 1290 are required along with high school GPA of 3.25 or above. Selected students are given an annual scholarship of $7,000 which is also renewable for the next four years.

Two more Achievement Scholarships are available with low requirements and low annual stipend. However, a student can only get one of the above-mentioned achievement awards as these awards are not additive.

 

6. International Alumni Legacy Scholarship

Oklahoma State University provides this scholarship to the international undergraduate students whose parents are alumni of the university. One of the parents or grandparents of the student must be a graduate of Oklahoma State University. Only a limited number of students are selected for the alumni scholarship. The applicants are selected on the basis of their academic performance. If you have a good high school GPA, you have much greater chances of getting this scholarship. This scholarship provides an annual stipend of $5,000 which is renewable for four years.

 

7. International Transfer Achievement Scholarship

Oklahoma State University also provides achievement scholarships to international transfer students. It is a merit-based scholarship. Only those transfer students qualify who have better academic record as compared to their competitors. The transfer students must have at least 24+ transferable credit hours and college GPA of 3.25 or above to apply for this scholarship. Those students who qualify for this transfer award are given an annual scholarship of $5,000. This transfer award is renewable for only two years.

 

8. International Transfer Legacy Scholarship

This legacy scholarship is provided by Oklahoma State University to the international transfer students whose parents or grandparents are graduates of this university. In case the students applying for this scholarship exceed the number of awards available, the students will be chosen on the basis of their academic record. Students with better college GPA will be preferred. An annual stipend of $5,000 is provided to the selected students in this program. This scholarship is renewable for the next three years.

 

9. Academic College Scholarships

These are the competitive Oklahoma State University scholarships provided by academic colleges of the university. The requirements vary from college to college. The scholarship amount and its duration is variable. The factors which are considered while selection include GPA, test scores and participation in co-curricular activities. In addition to the scholarship application, the college may conduct an interview to decide the best candidate for the scholarship.
