To apply for this scholarship as a non-Kuwaiti student, applicants must provide documentary proof of secondary or undergraduate school completion. 2. Education Future International Scholarships

Moreover, applicants must have achieved at least a 60% score in their Secondary School Certificate (10th) and Higher Secondary Certificate (12th) examinations. Also, applicants must provide proof that they lack funding for their studies abroad. Thus, they need to apply for at least 50% funding from educational loans.

3. GUST Scholarships

The scholarship can be highly competitive, thus awarding a small number of recipients. Additionally, it is valid for one academic term. Although, students consistently meeting the scholarship criteria can apply for renewal in their succeeding terms at the university.

Applicants for this scholarship must have completed at least 30 credit hours. Also, they should have at least a 3.53 Cumulative GPA. When applying for this scholarship, they should also register for at least 15 credits at the university. Lastly, the scholarship considers international students that don’t have pending disciplinary actions. 4. ICGEB Grants

The International Center For Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology supports the training of young researchers by providing grants to fund research and build research facilities. ICGEB offers up to US$29,600, or Euro 25,000 recipients can use for research-related expenses. These include consumable items, laboratory equipment, training and travel costs, and scientific literature.

To apply for this Kuwait scholarship, applicants must hold a university or research institute position in any member country, including Kuwait. They can also work collaboratively with other research groups from other countries. These groups must not have received any funding from ICGEB for a previous project. Also, applicants or research groups applying for this grant must not be based in Italy.

5. KSCT Merit-Based Scholarships

The Kuwait College of Science and Technology started offering degree programs in 2016. It is a private university that offers technology-focused undergraduate programs. International students looking to study in Kuwait can apply for its Merit-Based scholarships. In this Kuwait scholarship, the college may provide financial grants depending on the students’ academic records.

Applicants with over 98% final high school grade within the same admission year may receive up to 100% scholarship. Meanwhile, students whose final high school grade within the last two years from the application date is at least 95% will receive a 50% scholarship. And, students with at least 90% final grades in high school will receive a total of 25% scholarship.

The scholarship is only applicable to self-funding students, those applying in KSCT with no scholarships from other institutions. Successful applicants must keep good behavior and above 85% attendance. Though scholarships are typically awarded one semester at a time, KSCT will evaluate recipients at the end of every semester to confirm scholarship renewal.
