Fairleigh Dickinson University was created in 1942 and is located in New Jersey, USA. This institute of higher learning holds the prestigious record of being the first to have a campus outside the U.S. The school is a medium-sized university with 10,000 students enrolled at the school. The school began as a post-secondary college in 1942, and then, it started offering programs for four years. In 1958, the school was renamed by the Board of Education in New Jersey. The university has four faculties offering over 150 disciplines, and the FDU School of Public and Global Affairs is the latest faculty added to the university in 2017.

The acceptance rate at the university is quite high. However, the school fees are on the high side with $43,142 being paid during the last admission cycle. Fairleigh Dickinson admissions are typically selective like most private institutions with an acceptance rate of 78%. The SAT range of students admitted into Fairleigh Dickinson is between 1000-1200, while the average ACT score of the students at the institution is between 20-25. It is also estimated that 40% of students offered admission to the school enroll at the beginning of the session.
